CSULA: SVdP Week 4 Club Meeting

Hey Vincentians!
It's week 4 and our next meeting is coming up.

Club Meetings are Bi-Weekly & are moved to THURSDAYS:
Meeting on Jan 31, Thursday
@ 3-4pm @ Montebello Room (Student Union Building)

Feb. 9- Hygiene Kits 10am-12pm @ St. Thomas More
 Our goal is to get 200 bags assembled for the poor at Downtown LA Skidrow.
If you have donations please feel free to REPLY. We will be pairing up with the Public Health Student Association (from CSULA).

CSULA : Week 3: SVdP Officer Meeting &Upcoming Events

Hey Vincentians!
Just to remind you, there is NO CLUB MEETING this week.
But we will be having an officer meeting @ Tuesday (Jan. 22) @ 3:15 @ Student-Union Monterey Room.
Feel free to come by and give feedback or ideas.

Blanket drive : Feb. 9 & 10 , Saturday & Sunday
     -- St. Thomas More Church, ask for donations and (maybe) buy materials
     --Ask donations and being involved with time at the Parish
Set a date with PH Students Assoc. (Org/Club) to help SVdP
     -- Feb 9, 2013  to make Hygiene Kits
Fundraiser Ideas:
   -- Shakey's Night and collaborate with Hispanic Soc. of Engineers

Yes Weekend/Life in the Spirit Seminar, 
January 19, Saturday @ 9am-6:30pm @Incarnation Church in Glendale.
(1001 North Brand Boulevard  Glendale, CA 91202)
One day workshop filled on topics of God's Love, Salvation, the Holy Spirit and how to build up your prayer-life all for college students and young adults. Even Jenn Robles will be giving a talk.
Hosted by the Heart of Jesus Young Adult Group
 Food and Registration is FREE!

St. Thomas More Parish needs our help!

Hello everyone! I hope we are all about done with finals! 

Thank you to everyone who took part in the society's events this quarter. Your presence, ideas, and support touch many lives in Los Angeles. 

I know some of us are going out of town this break, but before you take off please consider stopping by St. Thomas More Parish

(2510 South Fremont Avenue  Alhambra, CA 91803) 

 Thursday evening (TOMORROW). Frank, the confirmation coordinator, has asked for our help with making posters and other preparations for the Confirmation Retreat on Saturday. Please stop by St. Thomas More Parish at 7pm-8:30pm to help out. We will be in the hall. Contact me if you have any questions or need a lift.
